Aloha Down Under 14th-18th May 2012 REGISTRATION OPEN – Limited Space
HTO is pleased to invite you to participate in Aloha Down Under (ADU) 2012. ADU is an opportunity offered every 2 years and is a means of bringing Hawai‘i to the Australian and New Zealand travel industry through a series of trade events.
The 2012 events aim to reach over 850 Hawai‘i travel professionals in Australia and New Zealand; primarily retail travel agents, wholesale reservations staff, product and marketing managers. With an expected rise in visitors originating from Queensland and Victoria additional activities have been included to assist with raising awareness and enabling you to learn more about these growing markets. With all the new additional flights between Australia and Hawaii including two brand new routes (ex Brisbane and ex Melbourne) this is an event you won’t want to miss.

Air Australia Launch
Air Australia (formerly Strategic Airlines) began flights from Brisbane and Melbourne direct to Honolulu on 14 & 15 December 2011. The new flights depart Brisbane on Wednesdays and Fridays and Melbourne on Thursdays and Saturdays, and have started right in time for the 2011 Christmas and school holiday period.
Air Australia has also announced it's first airline partner as Hawaiian inter-island carrier Go Mokulele. The new joint marketing agreement will give Air Australia's customers access to the outer islands of Hawai‘i, the Big Island, Maui, Kauai, Molokai and Lanai.
Hawaiian Airlines Add New Flights
Effective 14 December 2011, Hawaiian Airlines have increased from five Boeing 767-300ER flights per week to daily, on their year-round service on the Sydney-Honolulu route. From May 2012, Hawaiian will upgrade to its new, larger Airbus A330-200, adding 11,000 more seats per year.
Jetstar Add New Flights
For Australia’s peak December and January months, Jetstar has added several new services between Sydney and Honolulu over the 2 month period to cater for the traditional heavy demand.
